20-year old college student and mother Marisol Valles Garcia who took a job no one else wanted as mayor of Praxedis G. Guerrero, Mexico has been suspended today after taking time off from work after receiving death threats. Marisol’s predecessor had his head (without his body) left outside of the police station last year and many are already speculating that she’s fled the country and is seeking asylum in the United States.
